In 2009 the Humane Society in Brevard helped place over 240 animals with the support of community members and loving people who opened their hearts and homes. Here are some ways you can help us:

You can come by our thrift store at 84 E. Main Street in downtown Brevard and have a look at all our wonderful items from community supporters like you! The hours of operation are Mon-Sat 10:30am to 4:45pm. Need to reach the thrift store by phone? Give us a ring at 828-884-6577. The Transylvania Humane Society would like to welcome it's newest little friends. Currently waiting for adoption are two puppies [both female], one 7-month kitten, and another young kitten. We'll keep you posted on how they're doing. Pictures and details will come soon!
